ABOUT
So what do you actually do?
Lots of Admin.
Seriously though I would describe it as the support system that helps both the execs and the team function effectively and efficiently as well as forging the connection between the different offices and divisions of the company.
What has your career path been?
I started my career as a Brand Ambassador for FIXR, Original Sin & VK drink (Global Brands) at university.
Fresh out of uni, I completed a summer internship at 160over90 working on the Oppo and Rubicon accounts in conjunction with the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Much to my delight, I never left 160 as I was promoted to my current job as the Executive & Team Assistant.
What is the best part of your job?
The people, the opportunity to work at and attend 160 & Endeavor events, and the exposure to all areas and divisions of the company.
Why do you do your job?
The passion I have for sport attracted me to the company itself, but the opportunity to help and support brands using both my knowledge of Psychology and Sport is what inspires me most to do my job.
One piece of advice for someone starting in your role?
Patience & make the most of all the opportunities and connections that come your way because there are a lot of them.

DAY IN THE LIFE
Morning
Gym in the morning before work probably 2 or 3 days a week (when it’s not raining) then I always pick up a coffee - courtesy of Pret barista obviously.
I tend to make a ‘to do list’ the day before each working day so that I know exactly what I need to do each day when I first log on.
So, I always go through my list first and then look at mine and my two bosses’ calendars to see what the day looks like. I then have a team catch up call at 9am which kind of replicates the morning back when we were in the office which always puts a smile on my face.
The rest of the morning is spent replying to emails, scheduling and doing ad-hoc tasks mainly for the execs as well as the wider team. Some days I also sit in on senior leadership calls taking notes and actions.
Afternoon
I leave this for insights & client work.
Collating insights – I tend to watch a webinar or two as well as finding different relevant articles to share ahead of the weekly insights that get sent round every Wednesday. The rest of the day is spent doing client work – completing work I’m scoped on or helping out internal teams with different bits.
A lot of the time this includes desk research to support the internal 160over90 team, mainly focusing on the overall consultancy work for the client.
For example, research I did for WTT consisted of a deck looking at the different rules & regulations, trends and events in table tennis. Other tasks include participating and contributing in different brainstorms mainly for creative campaigns, as well as project planning or scheduling for new pieces of work or business development.
